Just Have To Share...

My talented sis-in-law, Jenna, came to my preschool classes a few weeks ago to take school pictures. They turned out s0 cute.

Here are a few that she took of my boys:
(I just LOVE that she captures their personalities so well!)

Thanks again, Jenna.
You're awesome! :)

Soccer Time!

We have 2 little soccer players in our family now. They are so adorable running around and chasing the ball. And how cute are they in their little uniforms?! I love it. Last Saturday was their first games of the season.

Here's the photo re-cap:
Trevor-all ready for his 1st game!

Trevor and cousin Alex are on the team together.
(It's so fun to share this soccer-fun with the Webbs!)

Warming up with their awesome coach
(We are on a team with friends from our ward,
so it's been really fun for all of us!)

Team cheer...GO, SUPERHEROS! :)

Every time Trevor looked at me,
he would show me a "thumbs up!"
Too dang cute.

Daddy and Isaac cheering him on!

Isaac's game was next. Here is his first time on the field.

Getting ready to kick-off for his team.
I love that he looked over and smiled at us!

Chasing the ball
(and that blue team, who was ridiculously good!)

"Blue Dragon" team huddle

Isaac's triumphant run through the parent tunnel

Our buddy, Sara, came to cheer on the boys.
They were SO excited that she was there!

Here's to a great season of soccer!

Papa's Big Day

Today is my Dad's birthday. Anyone who's met my dad knows that he is a special man. He is such an amazing dad to Derek and I, and the best "Papa" to Isaac and Trevor. Even though he's been on the other side of the world for a lot of their little lives, there is no doubt that these boys know and LOVE their Papa.

When I told them that it was Papa's birthday, they decided that they wanted to make him some "awesome pictures!" (And since there's no mail to the Congo, we have to send it through the computer.)

So here you go, Papa...
Showing off their work

Isaac's card
He made a "Papa dinosaur and an Isaac dinosaur"
and a "Papa duck and an Isaac duck." :)
(I put captions on it so you could see how cute his spelling is!)

Trevor's card
Cute and random...just like Trev!

And here is your birthday hug! :)

We love you, Dad/Papa!
Hope you had a great day!

Happy Campers

Last weekend, we got the chance to go camping with some friends from our ward. The weather was beautiful, the company was great, and we all had a blast! Here is the photo recap:

We got stuck in some pretty bad Labor Day traffic,
so our 2-hour drive turned into a 4-hour drive!
By the time we rolled into our campsite (at 9:30 pm)
the boys were going a little nutty in the car.

The first night was really cold,
so Derek got up early to get the fire going.
It's a good thing, too, because I refused to get out of
my sleeping bag until there was a nice, warm fire. :)

Cute boy. So, so cute.

Isaac is so much like his mama...
He wanted to spend the day in his warm sleeping bag, too.

One of our super crafty friends brought up paints/supplies
for the kids to decorate nature. Isaac was thrilled!

Here are his creations! :)

Daddy and Isaac doing a little relaxing.

Trevor and Rex
(Rex is 3 years older and Trev thinks he is super cool.)

Isaac and his buddies

Is there anything better than being allowed to play in the dirt?

Trevor and Daddy playing a little football.

Isaac and his girls. :)
They found this awesome bone.
They were sure it was a dinosaur bone.
Or maybe a cow bone...

This is one of my new favorite kids.
He is hilarious.
And check out that dirty face!

And here's Trevor's dirty mug.

Even Isaac let himself get a little dirty!

Trevor and his buddy, Tyler.
(They are only 4 months apart, but poor Trevy is such a little shrimp!)

More dirt...

Our friend brought some yummy treats
to make "Camping Cones."

Here are my boys filling up their cones.

More treats!

Roasting our cones and marshmallows.
The perfect way to end a day of camping fun!

(Thanks to our awesome friends for a great trip!)

This Is What Happens...

...when they are unsupervised!
The story:
My sister stopped by and while I was talking to her downstairs,
THIS is what the boys decided to do.
I don't know if I've ever seen them laugh so hard.
Crazy dudes!

(And for the record, Mom...I really did make my bed!) :)
