Goodbye...Again

Well, the last 4 months with my parents home have flown by and now they are headed back to Africa. We were not ready to let them go yet, but we know they are doing a great thing and we couldn't be more proud of them. We had one last family party with them the night before they left.

They're excited to see how much they grow in the next 2 years.

(He "babysat" this Woody toy last time they left,
so Grammy asked him to take care of him again.

It sure is hard to say "goodbye" to you (again),
but we are grateful for your examples of
dedication, sacrifice, service, and love.

We Love Summer!

We are having such a great summer! It's so nice to have a more flexible schedule and we're finding lots of fun things to do. We haven't even been bored yet! :) Here are a few random pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Isaac is really into sounding-out words lately.
This was the very first "love note" he wrote me.
He did it all by himself and was pretty proud.
(It says "I love Mommy"...and some other stuff.) :)

The teachers are fabulous and
they are all doing really well!

I just had another birthday,
which is so much fun with little kids.
Derek took them to the store and
they picked out Elmo cupcakes for me. :)

San Diego Fun (Photo Book)

We just got back from our fabulous trip to San Diego and I have WAY TOO many pictures! We had the best time
and the boys want to look at the pictures all day long,
so I ordered this little photo book for them.
