October Outing

Before life got crazy this month, I was able to take my boys out for a day at the Children's Museum. We had been there once before, but it was a couple of years ago. This time was WAY more fun! They are at the perfect ages for outings like this. They love to play and explore, and they love to be together. (And it helps that I don't have to worry about strollers, diapers, sippy cups, or escaping toddlers.) We had a great time, and here's the proof...

So excited to be here!

Silly boy.

For some reason, I adore this picture of them.

So proud of his hard work. :)

Riding the tricycles through the "car wash"

This supermarket room is always a favorite.

Isaac was totally enthralled with this room.
It reminded him of Grandpa Bird's marble game.

Just doing a little relaxin'!

I love days like these.

Five Years Ago...

My sweet Isaac is 5 today!
(You'll have to excuse me...I always get sentimental on my boys' birthdays.)

Five years ago today...
- I became a mommy.
- I got to see his cute face for the first time.
- I got to hold him, kiss him, and snuggle him.
- We were surrounded by family and friends.
- I cried A LOT! (happy cries, though)
- I was blown away by how much I loved that tiny, little person.
- I could never have imagined how much he would change my life.

Happy Birthday, Isaac.
I love you!

Getting Me Through It

I have had a tough week. We all have 'em.
As I sat down this afternoon to decompress,
I felt so overwhelmed by how much I love these boys
and how lucky I am to have them in my life.
They have definitely gotten me through it this week.

I mean...really...look at those faces! :)

Just Have To Share...

My talented sis-in-law, Jenna, came to my preschool classes a few weeks ago to take school pictures. They turned out s0 cute.

Here are a few that she took of my boys:
(I just LOVE that she captures their personalities so well!)

Thanks again, Jenna.
You're awesome! :)
