Poor Trevy!

Look at what we've been doing this week:Little Trevor came down with what I thought was a nasty cold on Wednesday night, but by Thursday evening,
we were in urgent care...trying to get him to breathe.
Apparently, the virus that he got quickly turned into bronchitis/pneumonia. We had a rough couple of days, but he's doing lots better now. What a little trooper! :)

We recently started a date night swap with 2 of my sisters and it is FABULOUS! It is so nice to have time away from it all...where Derek and I can just kick back, relax, and remember why we like each other! :) But we've discovered that the nights we have all the kids at our house are pretty fun, too. There are 8 kids all together and they have a blast! Here is a little look into what date night looks like at our house. P-A-R-T-Y!

Trevor's birthday was so fun this year.

Birthday Outing

We took the boys to a great children's museum to celebrate Trevor's birthday. They had a blast!

I just can't believe it!

Yesterday my sweet little Trevor turned 2 years old. How can that be?! He is growing up so fast! Trevor is curious, happy, loving, hilarious, and totally charming! I am grateful everyday that he was sent to our family. I love you, Trev!

Our Very Hungry Caterpillar

One of our favorite books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle. We read it all the time and Isaac can even recite it from memory. Well, this month we got a pet caterpillar, named "Isaac." (I bet you can guess who named it!) :) We were able to watch it eat, turn into a chrysalis, and then become a butterfly. It was one of the coolest things we've ever seen. The boys were totally into it!

Yesterday, Derek's brother, Cory, got married. It was such a wonderful ceremony and they are a great couple. We are excited to welcome McKenzie into the Allen family! (Isaac is totally smitten with her, too. He's been talking about her all day today!) :) I was busy chasing the boys around, all day, but here are a few pictures that I managed to get.

Happy Campers

Derek and Isaac were able to go on their very first Father and Son's camping trip last weekend. It was a much anticipated trip and I think it lived up to all the hype! :)

"Mom, I've been waiting for SO LONG
to go camping with Daddy and now it's FINALLY time!"
