Best Reaction
Here's the best reaction from Christmas this year.
So...we decided to get him an Aluma Wallet for Christmas.
It's such a weird gift for a 5-year-old (or anyone!),
but check out his excitement...
(Background Info: Isaac loves infomercials and is always telling me about these "amazing" things that we should buy. His most recent obsession is the Aluma Wallet. If you want to see the commercial, check it out on youtube.)

Christmas Memories
I'm finally getting around to blogging about Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Every year is more and more fun with our boys. They both remembered Christmas last year, so they both felt that anticipation and excitement about what was coming. We spent Christmas Eve with the Allen family (at Grandma and Grandpa's empty house!). They just moved in and had no furniture, so we threw up some folding chairs and tables and had a great time! :) Then we went home for the night and had our first Christmas morning at our home with just our little family. The boys loved every second of it and were so much fun.
Here's the recap in pictures:

Love his cheesy smile! :)
Grandma with all the grandkids
She started a fun tradition where she reads a Christmas story
to the kids and they pass around little gifts.
When the story is over,
they get to open the present they ended up with.

As soon as we got home, the boys were rushing around to get to bed.
They barely had time to leave cookies for Santa!
(Best bedtime EVER...they went to bed without a peep!)

They were thrilled that Santa ate their cookies.
Funny story...
In this picture, Trev is holding the piece that Santa left.
When he did that,
Isaac said, "Eww, Trevor! I wouldn't hold that.
It has Santa's germs all over it!"
Ha ha. He may or may not get that from me. :)

And I got "The Help" and a sparkly pink bracelet.
After opening presents, we called Grammy and Papa
to share our Christmas morning with them.

grateful to have them be part of our Christmas.
After that, we rushed off to church,
where Isaac got to singwith the Primary kids.
He was so excited about it and did a great job!
Then we came home and re-grouped before heading out
to my sister's house for Christmas dinner.
It was an exhausting day, but we loved being with family
and celebrating the birth of our Savior.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
We had a great December, with lots of fun activities to get us ready for Christmas. The boys loved everything about it!
Here are some of the fun things we did:
Who doesn't love a good Christmas craft?! :)
I love how differently they painted their ornaments!
They totally match their personalities.

Santa came to our ward party and

Trevor was a little less excited...
...but he agreed to stand next to Santa. :)
Love these boys!
We went to see some amazing "dancing lights."
And, of course, cold weather means lots of snuggles.
Isaac liked helping me make peanut clusters.
We had a really fun night making gingerbread houses
with our good friends, the Speers and Mendozas.

I'm pretty sure most of the candy
ended up in their mouths...not on their houses.

Being silly with our friend, CheriAn. :)
The boys got special e-mail messages from Santa.
Soccer Stars
The boys just finished their first season of soccer. They both enjoyed it...and it was very entertaining to watch! :)

After each game, they got to run through a "parent tunnel."
I'm pretty sure this was their favorite part of the games.
