Catching Up...Halloween

The boys loved every bit of Halloween. They are at such great ages for holidays. And what could be better than dressing up like a superhero and getting candy?! :)

Here's the rundown from this year's Halloween:
Ready to carve the pumpkin
Wait...who gave THAT boy a weapon?!

Pulling out the "pumpkin guts"
The mess was bugging Isaac a little,
but Trevor was had his whole arm inside the pumpkin!
Isaac got to design the face this year.
He wanted it to be "super scary!"

I love this picture!
They are too cute to be scary. :)
The finished product

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!
I made Halloween mac 'n cheese, grapes,
and mummy juice boxes for the boys.
They thought it was pretty awesome.
Isaac-Captain America
Trevor-also Captain America
(I tried to convince Trev to be a different superhero,
but he wanted to be whatever Isaac was.)

Superhero poses

They are such good buddies.
They handed out some candy before heading out.
Then it was off for some Trick-or-Treating!

Counting their "loot!"

The Party!

Isaac had his first "friend party" this year
and it was a big deal for him!
He chose a Captain America theme.
So, here's what we came up with:

The birthday boy...all ready for the party to start!

So many boys! :)

Each boy got a mini Captain America shield
and they had a great time throwing them around!

Battling "bad guys" with their shields. :)

He got some great gifts from his friends!

The Captain America shield cake that he requested

Isaac had such a great time with his friends.
He loved all the Captain America stuff
and told me his party was "just perfect!" :)

Happy Birthday, sweet Isaac!
We love you more than you could ever know.

Isaac's Birthday - Part 1

Isaac turned 5 in October
and we had a great time celebrating!
Opening his card from Grammy and Papa
(the night before...because it was already his birthday in Africa)

Opening his first present...a Captain America shield!

Birthday donuts :)

His birthday poster for preschool.

After school, we headed to Target
to let him spend his birthday money
from Grandma/Grandpa and Grammy/Papa.
He was so excited!

After much deliberation...
he chose the Captain America jet!

Opening presents with the family

He's been wanting this game for a long time.
(I loved his reaction!)

Cute brothers

Isaac's buddy, Sara, came to spend his birthday with him.
He adores Sara!

His birthday cupcakes

He was one happy boy!!

Day at the Farm

I am trying to get caught up on our family journal/blog.
It's been a crazy couple of months, but I'm hoping to get back on track!

In October, I took the boys to an adorable little farm right by our house. I've never been there, but I'd heard great things about it. And it was so, SO fun!! Isaac and Trevor wanted to invite Jameson and Alex to join us, which made it even better.

My little pumpkins!
They had a few carnival games for the kids to play.

I love this picture of Isaac and Jameson celebrating
when they knocked over all of the crows.

(Jameson is actually IN the air!) :)
Isaac showing off his muscles!
Is there anything better than a bouncy house?
They even got a little cow-milking practice.
Riding horses
The boys loved this "train ride."
My cuties.

Running through the hay bale maze
King of the Mountain/Tractor Tires
Watching the baby pigs

Isaac and Trevor really thought they were speaking "goat."
We did a little experiment to see who was heavier...
Allen boys vs. Webb boys
(We win!)
I challenged Corinne to the same experiment
...and I totally dominated.
I made her stay up there for couple minutes, too.
It made me feel a little better about the fact that
I weigh a lot more than my pregnant older sister. :)

My boys and I at the corn maze entrance
They were so cute wandering around the corn maze.

They had these really cool peddle cars for the kids to drive.
Isaac was the only one big enough to drive it himself,
so he gave Trevor a ride. Cute brothers.
We finished off with jumping on the "air pillow."
It's like a giant, inflated trampoline.
The boys had a blast (and got really worn out!).
I LOVE this picture.
They are so cute together!
