Copy Cats

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right?
Trevor wants to be just like his Mama!
(Should I be worried?) :)
We have tried to convince Isaac that he should wear hats,
but he's been never interested...until today.
He put on this hat today and insisted that I call him "Jameson." (His cousin, Jameson, wears hats all the time...apparently he has taken notice.)

Favorite New (Old) Toy

I can't stand to have toys all over our house, so we rotate them. Every few months, I go through the toy baskets and pull out the ones they are tired of and put them in the garage. A few months later, I pull those toys out again and it's like Christmas morning at our house! :) This week, I pulled out this old rocket toy and the boys went CRAZY for it! Trevor spends all day riding it around the house. It's pretty adorable!
So cute!
Eventually he decided that riding it
just wasn't thrilling enough...
...he had to show off his stuntman skills!
This is how he gets off. Nice dismount, huh? :)
This boy gets cuter everyday!
I don't know what I'd do without him.

My Old Man :)

Today is my dad's birthday. I love this guy!
I am really missing him today, but I am glad that we can share him with the people of the Congo. I know that those people love him and that he is doing so much good there. That makes it easier to be away. (And I know my mom is taking good care of him, too. She made him some english toffee...so I know he's a happy man!) :)
This morning, we recorded this video for him, just in case we didn't get to talk to him. (Between their internet problems and ours, it's pretty hard to communicate.)
Happy Birthday Dad/Papa! We are so grateful to have you in our lives...even if you are on the other side of the world! :) We love you!

Just wanted to tell our wonderful friend "Happy Birthday!" Hope you have a great day!
We love you, Sara!

Victory Scream

Trevor has started doing this funny little scream whenever he accomplishes something he's trying to do. He gets so pleased with himself and he just can't contain his excitement! (In the video, he's trying to put his Hot Wheels cars into the toy garage.)

We thought this was so hilarious until he started doing it during church today! Not so funny when everyone in the ward is staring at us! :)

Little Mountain Men

We were able to get away last weekend for a few days to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Pinetop. We had a great time with Derek's parents. They are so good to our boys! And the weather was unbelievable.
We want to go back already!
Isaac decided that Grandma needed to get in his tent-bed with him. He loves Grandma and she is such a great sport!
Making mud soup with Daddy--Don't you love their chairs?
Cute Isaac!
Trevor was in heaven! He loves being outside!
Trevor tried his hand at soup-making...
...unfortunately he didn't hear the rule about not actually eating it!
Forest walk with Daddy
Isaac found this little mound of dirt and thought it was a fabulous mountain!
How much do I love this boy!? :)
Isaac loves the "alligator trees."
Daddy showed the boys his old BB gun.
(Trevor didn't actually shoot it but it makes for a great picture, huh?)
And of course...what would a trip to the mountain be without a little friendly competition!?
Derek and his mom had a pretty heated game of air hockey. (She gave him a run for his money!)
No wonder these boys love their daddy.
It rained off and on during our trip...not enough to ruin it, just enough to give the boys a little excitement! They loved the rain!
These are my favorite moments at the mountain! :)

Easily Amused

There is nothing better than hearing my boys giggle and laugh! I was going through some pictures from the last month or so and found a bunch of silly things they've done. These kids get such a kick out of life! :)
Isaac decided to eat his lunch in Trevor's high chair and thought it was hilarious!
(Can you say...REGRESSION!) Ha-ha!Costco trips provide hours of entertainment!
(Their favorites are the paper towels and toilet paper.)
Isaac loves to build "towers" and is so thrilled with himself when he finishes them.

This is the absolute favorite activity in our home.
(Now this one makes ALL of us laugh!)

This is Trevor's newest trick.
I have no explanation for this one. :)

Pretty crazy, huh?
