Easter 2012

We had a great Easter weekend this year.
It was busy, but fun!
We started our weekend with a neighborhood egg hunt.
They are pretty adorable. :)
The next day, we filled eggs for our next Easter egg hunt.
Then we dyed our Easter eggs.
(Side note: Isaac was confused by the term "dye"
and kept calling it "killing" Easter eggs.)

Silly boys.

The boys got a visit from the Easter Bunny and were
pretty pleased with their loot! (Check out Trevor's face.)

All dressed up and ready for church
(I even convinced Trevor to wear a tie for Easter!)
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner.
We also did a little Easter egg hunt for the grandkids.
(Look at all of those BOYS!)
And they're off!
Grandpa is the best, huh? :)
I love this picture.

Caught in the Storm

We spent a few days of Spring Break at "Grandma's Mountain." The first couple of days were sunny and in the 70's...perfect. Then a CRAZY storm rolled in! We actually got snowed in on the day were trying to head home. I am not a fan of snow, but my kids were in heaven! They loved everything about it.

Here are my little desert rats, enjoying their first real snow:

The first time they went out, they didn't last long.
They were all ready for their warm clothes and a snack!

Grandma had snow cone syrup all ready for the boys.
They were very excited to eat REAL snow cones! :)

The snow just continued to pile up.
I've never seen so much snow!

The next day, we tried to head home, but we were
sliding all over the place and decided to turn around.
The boys wasted no time getting back out in the snow!

Look at all the snow piled up on their tree house!

Even I bundled up and faced the cold.
So, here's proof of how much I love my boys! :)

The Big News...

It's a good thing we make such cute boys because...
we're going to have another one!

That's right...we had our ultrasound today and found out that baby #3 is another little boy! We are really excited about the news (as are Isaac and Trevor). We took them to the ultrasound and they loved it. They watched intently as we saw all the little parts of baby brother. Isaac was able to see everything we pointed out and even noticed some things before we told him what they were. He was especially excited about seeing the heart and the brain. Trevor just kept saying, "I don't see a baby!" :) It was such a fun outing for our family and we are getting so anxious to meet this little guy!

And here are a couple of my favorite shots...
His adorable profile!

This is just as he was putting his little hand under his chin.
So cute! :)

Build-a-Bear!

Grammy and Papa gave each family money to do something special for Christmas. We decided that instead of buying our boys a present, we would use their money to buy Build-a-Bear gift cards. They've been wanting to go for a long time and it seemed like the perfect gift from Grammy and Papa. We even recorded Grammy and Papa's voices to put inside their bears.

We carefully documented our day at Build-a-Bear so we could share it with Grammy and Papa.
Here are the pictures:
So excited!

They both knew what they wanted to choose right away.
Isaac chose a koala bear and Trev chose a puppy.

He's in heaven! :)

Me with my cute boys
(They really are cute...even if they refuse to smile normally for pictures!)

Giving it a squeeze. :)

Warming up his little heart

Trevor couldn't get over how cool the stuffing machine was.

It was finally his turn!

Making sure it was just right. :)

Time to dress their new pets

Thanks, Grammy and Papa,
for helping us to have this wonderful experience together.
We love you!

Fireworks!

Getting caught up... :)

My brother and his family came into town after Christmas so we spent the week hanging out with them. We did some eating out, activities for the kids, shopping at Last Chance, and lots of just being together. We had a great time! Before they left town, we were able to celebrate New Year's Eve together with all of my siblings and their kids. Just before midnight, we took all of the kids outside and let them do some sparklers. Then the dads lit some bigger fireworks for the kids to see.
Here are some of the kids, lighting their sparklers.

Poor Isaac was very nervous...
we could barely get him to come outside.

Trevor-EXCITED

Isaac-TERRIFIED

The last one of the night was a doozey!
As you can see in this video, it surprised all of us...

Jameson Family Christmas

My brother and his awesome family came into town after Christmas, so we did our Christmas party/gift exchange when they got into town. There are SO many of us, but we have the best time together. Here are a few pictures from our night:

This is most of the crew. :)

Trevor got this sweet Wolverine mask.

And Isaac got Spiderman.
Aunt Linsey must know how much these boys LOVE to dress up!

I guess these goofy dads love dressing up, too. :)

With the help of a friend, Grammy and Papa were able to give these books to each family. It was neat to have them be a part of our night, even from the other side of the world.
(One more Christmas and they will be home!)
